The Process
1) Let’s Meet
The first step is to get together to talk about your project. The best place to do this is in your home, where we can see the space and understand your vision. We’ll discuss your goals, ideas, budget and timelines for the project, answer any questions you may have and get to know each other.
2) Design
We know you’ve been thinking about your project for a while and have many ideas running through your head. We’ll help you visualize the new space through sketch, layout, and 3-D perspective drawings. This step helps us cost your project and gives you some options.
Not all projects require drawings; sometimes, you just know what you want, and the layout will remain the same. We’ll still give you many ideas about the details that will make your project unique.
3) Proposal / Agreement
Once we’ve sorted the details, we’ll present you with a written proposal. This includes a very detailed scope of work, timelines, schedule of payments, information about warranty and a general project understanding. For most projects, we’ll give you purchase allowances in the scope of work for fixtures and finishing items you select. There are many decisions and selections, but don’t worry, you’ll never be alone. We’re here to help and have many expert vendor partners to assist you along the way.
After you’ve reviewed the proposal, the final step is signing the agreement. We don’t move forward until you’re comfortable with every aspect and we’re all on the same page.
4) Let’s Get to Work!
Now for the exciting part! We set a start date and begin to schedule trades and order material. There are likely still some things to fine-tune at this stage, so we’ll communicate everything we need from you to set ourselves up for a smooth, stress-free renovation experience.
This communication will continue through each project phase as we work toward completing your fabulous new space.
